Byron K. Fogan is the Managing Member and Founder of Cocoon Strategies & Solutions, LLC. Mr. Fogan holds a Juris Doctorate from Albany Law School and a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations from Georgetown University. As an attorney, Mr. Fogan represented the diplomatic mission of a foreign government in the United States for nearly a decade. He has a lived experience of substance use disordered behavior which impacted every aspect of his life, including his professional career, family, and freedom. However, by grace, he found a wonderful life in recovery from substance use and has enjoyed a life of continuous sobriety for the last eight years.

This one-hour presentation is an entertaining yet informative look into the problem of substance use and addiction while practicing law through the lens of his experience.
