Sexual and Gender-Based Misconduct: Title IX Reporting

Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972 prohibits gender discrimination in education programs and activities. While it is most famous for requiring schools to provide females with equal athletic opportunities, the law applies to all aspects of education and covers all genders.

Sexual violence is one form of gender-based discrimination that is prohibited by Title IX. Albany Law School takes its Title IX obligations very seriously and is committed to providing a safe and secure environment for our students. We are actively engaged in educating our campus about sexual violence, preventing its occurrence, and promptly responding to complaints of sexual misconduct. Familiarize yourself with the policies, procedures, and resources available on the Albany Law portal page.

You may also email your concerns or complaints to the Interim Title IX Coordinator Chantelle Cleary at [email protected].
