NYSBA’s Well-Being Roundtable: Ways to Open Dialogue on Racial Issues

Thursday, June 25 @ 4:00 p.m., Zoom access here

There is an unfolding of critically important conversations in the world right now around racial injustice and the role of policing in our communities. Such conversations bring forward differing voices, differing perspectives, and differing emotions as the doors to dialogue open. Listening and learning from one another requires the creation of environments which are based in goodwill and safety so that understanding may be found.

As part of NYSBA’s commitment to its community during this transformative time, our Lawyer to Lawyer Well-Being Roundtable will host a special edition on June 25th with President-Elect, T. Andrew Brown, Esq., Co-Chair of the NYSBA Police Misconduct and Racial Injustice Task Force. The one-hour Roundtable will focus on the work of the Task Force, the ways to open dialogue on racial issues, and the manner in which such issues impact our collective and individual well-being.

Special Guest:
T. Andrew Brown
President-Elect, New York State Bar Association
Co-Chair, NYSBA Police Misconduct and Racial Injustice Task Force
